Traveling Tips with Baby

We recently went on a trip to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico and we brought the little pumpkin with us! Let me tell you I was so scared to travel with her, that was my biggest fear! But in the end she did so well I would do it all over again. She was so good on the plane, loved the airports, and was great in the car ride to and from the hotel! We had to have a layover in Houston but it was perfect because it was her nap time so she slept good and then we hopped on our flight to Cabo! Layla and I shared a suitcase for the clothes, shoes, and accessories and Dads suitcase had the wipes, formula, bottles etc. We spent a whole week in Cabo and I will break down everything I packed and what I did with her to help out anyone else who is traveling with a baby!

We choose to flight out on the 5am flight which was perfect because Layla slept right as we took off until we landed in Houston, also I kept her in her pajamas and jazzed it up with a bow so she would be comfortable! I suggest taking flights when it is the time they should be asleep it makes it easier on you and everyone around you. I got out the iPad on the way from Houston to Cabo and that kept her entertained for a while, then we ate some snacks, played with everything near us, and as soon as you know it we were landing! Gate checking the car seat and stroller was amazing for us because we had long layovers and big airports to try and get through. If you are taking a local flight I would just check that in with your bags and carry baby. Changing baby on airplane was not as hard as I thought, we fly united and they had a changing station in the bathroom which was so nice.If you are going international be sure to get baby passport 3 months in advanced! I hope all this information helps you on your next trip!
